Prof. Haim Gutman graduated with honors from the Sackler Medical School at Tel Aviv University.
In 1991-1993 he was a Research Fellow Surgical at Oncology Medical Center Anderson, Houston, USA.
Prof. Gutman is a researcher and teacher at the School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. Since 2000 has been a member of the Committee on the quality of education, and since 2008 a member of the selection committee of medical students.
For many years, Prof. Gutmann has published over one hundred articles in journals, technical books and has won numerous awards and scholarships for his scientific achievements, including the prize in 1992 for his work in the US, Anderson Cancer Center Foundation from Smith Klein Beecham.
Among its many functions prof. Gutman from 2000 was a member of the ICA for breast cancer, and since 2002 has been a critic of board of the journal Medical Science Monitor, and since 2004 the European Journal of Surgical Oncology (EJSO) and the World Journal of Surgical Oncology (WJSO).
