Clinical expertise:
Prof. Peer is the founder of eye oncology field in Israel. He has with more than 30 years of experience.
The main expertise is intraocular melanoma (melanoma of the eye). Intraocular malignant tumors are most common in adults, and account for 50-60 new cases in Israel every year.
Professor Jacob Peer also specializes in the treatment of retinoblastoma, which is most common in children, and appears in the frequency of 12 new cases in Israel every year. Other tumors treated by the professor are intraocular lymphoma and around the eyes, as well as benign tumors and hemangioma of the eye, melanomas of the eye surface and conjunctival carcinomas.
Prof. Paer treats patients from all over the world.
