Dr. Ran Kremer has been involved in the field of thoracic surgery for 25 years, and has extensive experience in general thoracic surgery in adults and children.
The minimally invasive surgical method is currently also applied by Dr. Kramer in mediastinal and esophageal surgeries allows for surgeries to be performed on patients with severe physiological limitations (patients with obstructive lung disease, cardiac problems, etc.) and also allows for the surgery to be performed in old age (up to the age of 90).
In recent years, Dr. Kramer has taught residents in Israel and doctors abroad the surgical method.
Dr. Kramer has performed hundreds of surgeries using this method and has gained a wealth of experience, including complex oncological surgeries on large tumors and after chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Thanks to the reduction in surgical stress, these patients have returned to routine physical activity, including a rapid return to their work environment.
Since this method does not directly damage the intercostal nerves, cases of prolonged pain after surgery are very rare.
